We are an electrical contracting corporation that provides excellent, timely and cost effective solutions for each of its clients. Here at Calray we take pride in our projects and are committed to keeping them on schedule and within budget. We do so by employing, training and retaining skilled individuals; we further sucessfully execute our projects by making communication and responsiveness a top priority with our clients and other subcontractors on the job. Our employees are highly skilled and experienced electricians in the Commercial and Industrial fields and provide our clients with the knowledge and expertise to complete new construction projects, renovations, commercial tenant improvements (TIs), and service to our existing clients.

Calray’s attention to detail, our responsiveness and our service motto that is reflected in every employee that works for Calray is what sets us apart. We have experience providing design-build electrical pre-construction services, in addition to providing conventional electrical system and management configuration, installation and service. Our areas of expertise run the gamut from commercial retail spaces, restaurants, hospitals and industrial tenant improvements. Calray is located in Solana Beach and we serve all of San Diego County.

About the Owner, Robert Guillory

Robert has owned and operated Rob Guillory Calray Electric photo an electrical contracting business since 2008, and previously had perfected his craft as a journeyman electrician with two local San Diego electrical contractors. At both companies he led large scale projects, which required an attention to detail, work ethic and leadership skills to run crews of personnel and execute projects that were completed on schedule and within budget.

Robert appreciated the experience working for other electrical contractors afforded him, and was drawn to the customer interaction, problem solving and end product he could provide his clients. With that goal in mind, he opened an electrical contracting business and has kept excellent customer service, innovative solutions and timely service as his hallmarks. In his more than a fifteen years of experience as an electrician, Robert has become an expert in providing all electrical services for commercial, industrial and federal government clients.

A San Diego native and resident of Encinitas since 1996, Robert enjoys what San Diego has to offer and counts Skateboarding, Sailing, Golf and Surfing among his favorite activities and is a consummate Padre fan. Robert is excited about giving his clients an excellent level of customer service and is ready to be part of your winning team today!
